public class ServiceIdComponent
extends AbstractConsistentIdComponent

Create a consistent (persisted) ID for this service (or application -- connectors, or API, etc.) The ID can either be set in a system property, or written to a file. If the ID comes from a system property, we do not also write it to a file. We assume it will continue to be set via system property.
